Do I need to download or install any information to be able to attend this event?

No. You do not need to download or install any software to participate. You only need to have access to the internet.

How do I log in on day-of?

To join the Dual Credit Institute for Teaching and Learning Sessions, please click on the Program tab at the top of the IDLOOM page and then "CLICK HERE TO JOIN SESSION" at the bottom of each session's description.  This will automatically take you to the Main Room with the Breakout Sessions within the WebEx Platform. 

What is the Dual Credit Institute for Teaching and Learning?

The Dual Credit Institute for Teaching and Learning is an annual professional development event for all HCC instructors teaching dual credit courses at a high school, online, or on an HCC campus.

Who do I contact if I have troubleshooting issues on day-of?

Please click on the HELP DESK Tab which will allow you to speak directly to a Dual Credit Institute for Teaching and Learning Representative and they will be able to assist you.  You may also send an email to hcc.dualcredititl@hccs.edu for any questions about the conference.

Do I need to register to attend the Dual Credit Institute for Teaching and Learning?

Yes.  If you have not previously registered, please refer to the ‘Registration Page.’

Will I be able to take away information or brochures from the event?

Yes. Like any physical event, we will have a Resource Page for you! You can download all of the documents available and save them to your desktop or email them to yourself or colleagues. 

Is attendance required?

Yes, attendance is required to teach dual credit courses at Houston Community College.  

Will I receive a certificate showing proof of attendance at today’s event?

Yes, you will receive an electronic certificate via the email address you designated on your registration.
