Description: FOH/BOH is a two-person art exhibition involving artists Katherine Trimble and Brock Gordon. FOH/BOH (Front of House/Back of House) is a nod to the world of food service and notes the division between the Front of House, a cozy, inviting area welcoming of guests, and the Back of House, a chaotic and ever-changing space where the sausage is made. The works included in this exhibition feature paintings, drawings, photographs and sounds that speak to foods, ingredients, restaurants, food preparation, eating, and all of the sensory experiences associated with these themes. Brock Gordon is an artist from Greensboro, North Carolina, working primarily in painting and drawing. Katherine Trimble is a Houston-based visual artist and musician whose work explores the interconnectedness and interplay of our senses.
