Fracture explores the quiet rupture of childhood caused by forced early marriage. Through intimate portraits, these photographs reveal emotional and psychological scars alongside the resilience that endures. This work bears witness to lives interrupted—inviting empathy, remembrance, and a call to protect the futures of girls whose voices were silenced too soon.
The work is presented by Maryam Esfahani, whose role as a part-time graphic designer in the Visual Arts Department informs her creative practice.
