Mandana Ranjbar tells visual stories through light, composition, and multidimensional art. As a feminist conceptual artist, her work addresses the difficulties human beings face in the context of inequality, discrimination, and power. Her artworks depict the inner emotions of a variety of women. To portray their feelings about the oppression they experience, she uses props and particular objects in staged photographs. She creates surreal scenes that appear imaginary, situated in a constructed space between reality and fantasy, and expresses these issues symbolically. Establishing social equality is one of her driving purposes, and through her art, she aspires to reach everyone.
