We look forward to welcoming our entire faculty and staff to the new semester at our Spring Convocation on Friday, January 13, 2023. 

Our event theme is “Devotion to Service.” This is the second of our Mosaic & Me shared values. It's a guiding principle that motivates us in our unwavering commitment to serve our students and our community.

The past years have been challenging in both our personal lives and in the workplace. We had to be resilient to adapt to the changes of society as well as to new ways of working and educating. During that time, you were instinctively cognizant to the needs of our students and the Houston community. Through our collaborations, innovations and innate service-others-first mentality, we propelled HCC to live up to and surpass the expectations of our constituents. It was through your selfless dedication to them that you exemplified your commitment to service. And that is the inherent qualities for "Devotion to Service."

The Convocation program will feature remarks by the Board Chair and Chancellor

Because Convocation is mandated for HCC employees, all campuses will close from 8 a.m. until noon on January 13.

FREE parking is available at the Stadium Garage located at 3874 Holman St. There are three entry points on Holman designated for HCC parking. Any other areas outside of the Holman St. garage entrance could result in a citation.

All will proceed to the Jody & David Marrs entrance of the Fertitta Center, located across from the Stadium Garage for the event.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please do not enter the Stadium Garage from Cullen Blvd. A parking fee will be assessed.
