Welcome to Houston Community College's 2024 State of the College! This year’s theme is “To the Metaverse and Beyond.”
After discussing several key initiatives for 2024-2025, Chancellor Margaret Ford Fisher, Ed.D., will share HCC's leadership role in the development of virtual reality technology for education, and will discuss the impact the metaverse will have on society, business, and education. Her points will be underscored through an interview with three industry leaders.
Join us on Friday, November 1, at the Hotel Hilton Americas, 1600 Lamar St., Houston, TX 77010. The event will begin with an 8:30 a.m. check-in and will start promptly at 9 a.m. with a seated complimentary breakfast.
The State of the College program will also feature remarks by the HCC Board Chair Dr. Cynthia Lenton-Gary.
