Since beginning her healthcare leadership journey, Dez has built a successful career in healthcare operations and currently serves as Associate Vice President at Memorial Hermann, supporting enterprise-wide Patient Access and Front-End Revenue Cycle (Financial Clearance) functions.
Drawing from her experience in one of the nation's largest health systems, Dez will discuss the practical gaps that often exist between traditional healthcare administration education and the day-to-day realities of working in patient access and revenue cycle operations. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of how healthcare organizations function across both hospital and physician practice settings and learn how classroom concepts translate into real-world operational leadership.
