This thought-provoking and powerful workshop will explore the mindset and key attributes of successful entrepreneurs. Facilitated by HCC’s Entrepreneur in Residence, David Regenbaum, you will gain the business acumen needed for your entrepreneurial journey. Whether you plan to launch a new venture, transition from side hustle to full-time entrepreneur, or enhance your career, this 2-hour workshop is for you!
LEARNING OUTCOMES:
At the conclusion of this workshop, you will have:
- Identified key traits of successful entrepreneurs.
- Explored the profile of different types of entrepreneurs.
- Learned the difference between an entrepreneur vs intrapreneur.
- Understand what motivates entrepreneurs and why they take risks.
- Explored lessons learned from being an employee and how to apply them to your entrepreneurial path.

David Regenbaum
Prior to his arrival in the U.S.A., David Regenbaum practiced as an attorney in Johannesburg, South Africa. During 1979 Regenbaum relocated to Houston, Texas and established Association Management, Inc. (AMI). In 2014 Regenbaum sold AMI to FirstService Residential, which is the largest community association management company in America and is traded on the NASDAQ stock exchange. Since his retirement Regenbaum commenced his encore career and serves on the faculty for the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program administered by Houston Community College; as the Entrepreneur in Residence for the Center for Entrepreneurship at Houston Community College; and as Immediate Past Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Houston Community College Foundation.
