Amy Lee | Such Sweet Sorrow
HCC Southwest | West Loop Gallery
Exhibition | January 17—April 06
Registration is not required for this event. Everyone is welcome.
Description: "As I sit before my easel to paint, a pleasant anticipation begins to stir. Painting is a wholly physical process, from preparing the canvas to laying out the palette and solvents. Yet, it is also tenderness turned inward. There is a rhythm that forms in the stillness of emergence, and when it is done, the sadness of separation slowly sets in — until I pick up my brush again". —Amy Lee
