Dr. Katrina Gary-Forté with Human Service Technology will discuss how opioids impact your area of health sciences. You will meet and hear one mother’s story about losing her child to opioid poisoning. The use of Naloxone to combat overdoses will be discussed and Naloxone kits will be handed out at the end of the presentation.
