The AI and the Future of Houston Conference aims to explore the technological advances and innovation brought by AI. The discussion will also center on how academia and the industry can partner to build a local talent pipeline for responsible AI development for the prosperity of our region. With HCC being the first community college in Texas to offer the Artificial Intelligence degree program, the AI/Computing field in Houston is poised to flourish for a broad range of local industries.
The rapid surge of big data and the demand for AI across industries have created massive career opportunities in the field for our community. The conference will allow high school students, undergraduate students, postgraduate students, and prospective employees to converge to learn, network and gain insight into career pathways.
The first day will feature an academic focus specially for high school and undergraduate students. The second day will feature industry professionals and target graduates, postgraduates, and anyone seeking employment in AI.
