👻 Spooky Sounds: Podcasting Night at the Museum!

Presented in partnership with Houston City College & Eagle Spark

Get ready to create some spook-tacular sounds!

Join us for a special Halloween-themed audio workshop where kids ages 8 and up will dive into the world of creepy creative audio storytelling using iPads and GarageBand.

Participants will record their own voices, layer in mysterious sound effects, and experiment with digital instruments to create their very own mini “spooky sounds”!

What You’ll Learn:

• How to record your voice in GarageBand
• Adding eerie sound effects and Halloween-inspired loops
• Using virtual instruments to create fun background music
• Editing and sharing your “spooky sounds” masterpiece

No experience needed—just imagination, curiosity, and maybe a ghostly giggle or two!
