The camp fee is $50 per student, which helps us offset the cost of lunches and snacks provided daily throughout the week—please note that breakfast is not included.
This camp is exclusively for students ages 13 to 17. We are unable to accommodate participants outside this age range.
The Camp is limited to just 30 students to ensure a hands-on, personalized experience for every participant.
Daily Schedule:
Drop-Off: 8:00 a.m. - 8:50 a.m
Morning Session: 9:00 a.m. – 11:15 a.m.
Lunch schedule 12:05 a.m. -12:50 p.m.
Afternoon Session 1:00 p.m. – 2 p.m.
Pick-Up 2:00 p.m. – 3 p.m. (snacks are provided during pick-up for students)

Emergency and Alternative Pick-Up
Only the individuals listed on the Child Information Record will be allowed to leave with a child. The staff is expected to request a picture of the parents’ I.D. from any unfamiliar person (including grandparents). If there is any concern, the staff of Houston Community College Metaverse reserves the right to deny a person's request to pick up a child.
This is a person who must be over the age of 18 who is authorized to pick up your child and can be contacted by HCC Metaverse staff when the parent/guardian cannot be reached.
Code of Conduct
The safety of everyone in the camp is of the utmost importance to Houston Community College. Each participant must recognize a personal responsibility to learn and always follow the safety and other rules established by HCC- Metaverse staff:
- Be a positive team member for your group.
- Be on time and ready to participate.
- Disrespectful, abusive language will not be a part of the camp (No profanity, racial slurs, or putdowns).
- Do not damage or deface facilities or property.
- Rudeness, lack of courtesy, and disrespect for authority will not be tolerated.
- Fighting and threatening physical abuse is not acceptable behavior.
- No alcoholic beverages, knives, firearms, fireworks, illegal drugs, matches, or tobacco are allowed.
Students must always stay with their assigned group unless permitted to do otherwise.
Dress Code
All students are expected to wear acceptable clothing which includes pants, shorts, shirts, dresses, skirts, and footwear. The following types of clothing and accessories are prohibited:
- Short shorts or pants that do not cover undergarments.
- Clothing that does not cover the torso. (The bottom of shirts, blouses, and sweaters must overlap the top of pants so that the body is not exposed).
- See-through or revealing clothing.
- No muscle shirts, tank tops, or midriff tops. (The Metaverse courses are conducted in chilly rooms, please bring a light jacket)
- Clothing with profane writings, insignias, sexual implications, or advertising of drug, alcohol, or tobacco products.
- No flip-flops, cleats, or roller skate shoes are permitted.
