About the IDEAStudio Makerspace
New here? IDEAStudio is the makerspace at Houston Community College's West Houston Institute. We provide an open and supportive place where you can develop your creativity supported by digital tools like 3D printers, laser cutters, and CNC machines as well as traditional tools like drills, saws, and welders. IDEAStudio offers a free membership program to all HCC students and educators, as well as HCC's K12 and university partners. Not a member yet? Develop Your Creative Mindset & Skillset!
IDEAStudio Members develop their creative mindset and skillset by participating in our free training classes offered every semester. Our tool trainings introduce you to the basics of a particular technology in the makerspace such as 3D printing, laser cutting, and more. After that, you will have access to those technologies to work on your own projects at the makerspace!
