About the HCC Culinary Arts Dining Event
As part of the HCC Culinary Program, students prepare and serve a set, prix fixe menu each week while enrolled in their A la Carte Cuisine course. These public dining events are offered in the Spring from February through May, and in the Fall from September through November.
This event ticket is for a Thursday dining event with one seating at 11:30am. Please purchase one ticket per person for the event. We can seat a maximum of 24 guests for dining service.
Guests purchasing a solo ticket may be seated at our community table, which provides a great opportunity to meet other guests in the city who are also here to support the program. This option allows us to seat more guests overall, and gives students more opportunities to serve, while gaining valuable curriculum experience.
Proceeds from this event support our students. We do limit internal buyouts, as this is the program's showcase course and we need to place a priority on bringing in members of the community.
We are now located in the NEW Culinary Arts Building at 1401 Alabama Street, Houston, 77004. You may park on the 2nd level of the parking garage, located at 3669 La Branch Street, Houston, 77004.
You may also find street parking and enter through our front entrance on Alabama Street, at Austin Street. (if using GPS, type 3700 Austin Street to guide you to the entrance)
You will see our beautiful glass-walled dining room as you approach.
Tickets for this event are required to ensure we can set our dining room properly for fine dining service and enough food preparation is completed for service.
Please note: We do not offer the meal as a to-go order. This policy allows students to focus on proper plating and service of the multi-course meal.

Reservations
Each Ticket purchased will allow entrance of one person into the event.
When making a reservation, please include any allergy or dietary restriction in the notes section.
Alternate dishes may be available, but will be limited if reservation is made within three (3) days prior to the event.
Purchase of tickets to each event will end at 6:00am, on the day of the event.
Reservations for any one party are limited to 8, unless permission has been given by Chef Scott. Email michael.cammareri@hccs.edu if you would like to reserve a larger table. Larger parties may be seated at different, adjacent tables, to allow for best service by our students.
Late Arrivals
Anyone arriving more than 40 minutes late may be refused service for the event, without a refund.
Pricing
The cost of each lunch is $20.00 per person.
Reservations can only be used for the date and time purchased. Tickets cannot be honored on any other day or time, and no refunds will be given.

Payment
Payment may be made online using a credit or debit card. This is the preferred method.
Tickets may also be purchased with cash, in advance, at the HCC Central Business Office.
Regardless of type of payment, no refund will be given for no-shows
With regard to tipping, thank you so much for your generous spirit! We truly appreciate your support.
However, HCC policy prohibits us from handling cash. Your presence and continued patronage are reward enough!

Beverage Service
For this dining event, water and iced tea will be provided with your meal.
The question of wine service is often raised.
Unfortunately, we are not able to serve wine nor allow BYOB for our meal services, per college policy on alcohol consumption on campus. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience, but invite you to stop into any of the fine establishments located within a few moments of our midtown location before or after your dining experience.
