This series was created with local maker and small businesses in mind to help grow and scale your business needs and gain the perspective of your business potential needed by learning through local exporting/importing, logistics, supply chain and legal experts.
Session Description:
The sessions will include strategies and success stories from local export, import, e-commerce, logistic and business legal experts who can help shape how you view your company’s growth and give expert tips on how to better prepare for scaling your maker business.
HCC's West Houston Institute is excited to present a 2-day workshop series led by local experts covering:
- Creating an strong Export Plan
- Learning the language of export and why it’s important
- Strategies to grow and scale your business
- E-Commerce solutions and analysis
- Legal advice and tips that your business needs
- Effective communication and negotiations skills

Format:
- Classes will take place in-person Wednesday and Thursday from 10:30am to 2:30pm, June 8th & 9th, 2022
- All in person sessions are scheduled to take place in person at Houston Community College's West Houston Institute.
- Parking and classroom information will be shared with course registrants.
