Event Highlights:
📐 Design Challenge: Dive into a real-world design problem that demands your creative problem-solving skills. Client and challenge will be introduced the morning of the event.
🎨 Design Skills: Throughout the day, harness your design expertise and utilize cutting-edge Apple technology and Adobe apps to craft a polished final product ready for delivery to client.
🏆 Prizes: The stakes are high! Create a stunning final product and present it to our panel of judges for a chance to win exciting prizes.
1st Place: $1000 HCC grant
2nd Place: $750 HCC grant
3rd Place: $500 HCC grant
Honorable Mention: $250 HCC grant will be awarded to five (5) additional designs.
Requirements:
📌 Basic Knowledge: Participants are expected to have a basic understanding of design apps like Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, or similar software. Please note that we will not be providing training or software demonstrations.
🤝 Faculty/Mentor Support: Our experienced faculty mentors will be on hand to assist you with any technical or app-related challenges. They will guide you through any hurdles you encounter but won't be offering feedback on your designs.
📱 Bring Your Own Tech: While we will provide access to Apple iPads and laptops, you are encouraged to bring your own technology if you prefer. Feel free to work with the tools you are most comfortable with!
🖥️ Digital Submission: To have your design judged, you must submit a digital file that is ready for production. Production specifications will be included in the creative brief presented at the beginning of the day.
