The Design-a-thon: Solve a real-world design challenge!
This is a 48-hour design challenge combining in which HCC college students from across the district will use graphic design based problem solving skills to solve a real-world design challenge. Under the guidance of faculty mentors students will receive design related training in ideation, Adobe software, and 2D printing and laser engraving while receiving feedback on their work. Over the course of the two day event students will create deliverables that will be presented to judges for cash prizes. Attendence each day is required to be considered for awards and raffle items.*
*Exception being if you are attending off-site at a sattellite campus. More details regarding satellite campuses TBA.
