Five Modules – Each Module is Presented Over Two Sessions

Developed by the Glenda & David Regenbaum Center for Entrepreneurship – HCC Northwest, the HCC Small Business Success Series is a five-module program that offers an opportunity for hands-on learning and interaction with faculty, guest entrepreneurs, business experts, and fellow participants.

This series is specifically designed for aspiring, startup, and existing entrepreneurs who are actively pursuing the launch and growth of their business.

A Certificate of Completion will be awarded to participants who attend all five modules and successfully complete the series.

Program Session Dates and Topics:

Module 1: September 1 & 3, 2026
Vet the Venture – Are My Ideas Lucrative? – Determine the financial viability of your business idea or growth plan. Learn about competition, market need, pricing strategies, differentiators, revenue projections, startup costs, and more.

Module 2: September 8 & 10, 2026
Ignite the Entrepreneur in You! – Explore the key attributes, behavior styles, and profiles of successful entrepreneurs to challenge yourself, your team, and the future of your business. Develop a roadmap for your business idea alongside fellow entrepreneurs.

Module 3: September 15 & 17, 2026
Financials for Small Business Launch & Growth – Prepare for the "why, how, and what's next" by understanding your business finances. Learn how to analyze historical data, project future performance, and communicate your financial story to lenders and investors.

Module 4: September 22 & 24, 2026
Managing Risk – Protect Your Assets, Your Business & Your Future – Learn how to minimize risk by understanding business structures, taxes, insurance, hiring employees and independent contractors, operational processes, and contract negotiations.

Module 5: September 29 & October 1, 2026
Sales & Marketing Powered Up – Gain practical insights and strategies to strengthen your market research, messaging, strategic planning, budgeting, digital marketing, analytics, and customer loyalty.
