Professional Development

Choose this option if you want to develop your skills and integrate Apple technology into your classroom. This track is for faculty who do not plan to lead an Eagle Spark workshop. While you will not receive a stipend, you will have access to check-out Apple devices (such as iPads) for classroom use.

Eagle Spark Workshop Instructor

Select this option if you intend to become an Eagle Spark Instructor and lead Apple Creative workshops. Faculty in this track must lead at least one 4-hour Eagle Spark workshop within three months of completing Train-the-Trainer. Participants will receive a stipend (pending available funds), which includes:

- A stipend for attending the 8-hour Train-the-Trainer workshop

- Completion of the mandatory Apple Certified Instructor online training prior to the in-person session

- Payment for leading the required 4-hour workshop, which includes compensation for 5 total hours (4 hours of instruction + 1 hour for setup)

- Payment will be issued after successfully leading the required workshop

- Participants will also receive an HCC-issued iPad, which will remain in their possession until they leave HCC
