This exhibition explores the complexity of the human experience through a dense and dynamic visual language of accumulation. Drawing from architectural forms, the work considers the relationship between the human body, the mind, and the environments we inhabit.
Scaffolding, geometric structures, and Lego-like buildings build upon one another, creating compositions that exist somewhere between a body, a building, and a city. These layered forms suggest a state of “organized chaos,” reflecting the way our identities are shaped by our senses, experiences, surroundings, and the objects we collect throughout our lives.
In newer works, small ceramic components are embedded within the drawings, introducing an unexpected sense of play and delight. Their presence evokes the sensation of a ball pit—a playful contrast to the density and complexity of the surrounding forms.
Together, these works consider the human condition as a continual negotiation between turmoil, eqillibrium, and joy. Through accumulation, architecture, and unexpected moments of play, the exhibition invites viewers to consider the complicated worlds we build within ourselves and around us.
