A little murder, a lot of mayhem, and a family secret you definitely won’t want to inherit!
Houston City College Drama presents Joseph Kesselring’s Arsenic and Old Lace, a darkly comic classic where a seemingly charming family harbors a rather unusual pastime. When Mortimer Brewster discovers that his sweet, elderly aunts have been quietly poisoning lonely gentlemen who come to stay with them, his plans for a peaceful life quickly spiral into chaos.
With eccentric relatives, mistaken identities, unexpected visitors, and more than a few bodies to hide, Arsenic and Old Lace is a fast-paced comedy filled with outrageous situations and delightfully dark humor.
Come meet the Brewster family—and try to keep up with their wonderfully twisted idea of hospitality.
A classic comedy with a deadly sense of humor.
