Gerald Merfish:

With over 40 years of experience as an entrepreneur and executive in a family business, Gerald has navigated challenges such as managing multigenerational teams, acquisitions, vertical integration, geographic growth, import/export, financing, team development, sales, supply chain, exit strategies, private equity partnerships, strategic planning, and board governance. He has also mentored young adults and served on a community bank's Board of Directors. His nonprofit leadership includes work with United Way, Jewish organizations, MS Society, Houston school foundations, NASPD, and American Leadership Forum, where he co-managed capital campaigns. Gerald holds a BBA and MBA from UT-Austin.

Rich Hall:

Business Advisor, CEPA, and named one of Houston’s “Top 15 Coaches” in 2022, Rich works with privately-owned businesses ($2M–$100M) focused on value growth and exit planning. He specializes in valuations, exit readiness, acceleration, leadership development, and succession planning. Rich’s business background includes founding his own firm, turning around family-owned companies, and leading successful exits. He chairs CEO roundtables, facilitates nationwide mastermind groups, and mentors through various programs, including support for veterans and felons. Rich earned his BS at Georgia Tech, MBA at the University of Houston, and holds professional certifications. Visit his blog at richhallgroup.com.

Herb Kalman:

A CPA and business owner with 50+ years of experience, including partner roles at national firms and founder of local accounting practices. Herb has served as CFO for public/private startups and sits on a distribution company board. His expertise covers accounting/auditing, acquisitions, organic growth, and professional leadership in AICPA, Texas CPA societies, NACVA, ESOP Association, and Silver Fox Advisors. Volunteer work includes extensive board service for Congregation Beth Yeshurun. Herb is a frequent speaker on corporate governance, valuation, ESOPs, exit strategies, due diligence, and accounting practice management for professional associations and universities.
