A Houston native, he holds a finance degree with honors from Texas Southern University and an associate degree in real estate from Houston Community College. A U.S. Army veteran, Winston brings discipline and strategic leadership to his work. He currently serves as Deputy District Director of the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Houston District Office, where he connects entrepreneurs with capital, resources, and mentorship. Previously, he held senior leadership roles in banking, including Chief Lending Officer at a community bank, specializing in SBA, commercial, and real estate lending. Deeply committed to the community, Winston serves on multiple nonprofit and economic development boards and remains a strong advocate for equitable access to financial tools and business education.
