Dear Faculty Members,

 The HCC Fall 2026 commencement ceremonies will be held at the NRG Arena on Friday, December 4, 2026, at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Registration for Full-Time Faculty to attend the Fall Ceremony is NOW OPEN. Registration will close at 11:59 p.m., Wednesday, November 2, 2026. The goal is to have faculty representation at both ceremonies this Fall. Keep in mind that your attendance at one of the graduation ceremonies (Fall or Spring) is part of your contractual obligation. If you attend the Fall 2026 Commencement (December 4, 2026), you will have met your contractual obligation for FY 2026-2027.

Please note your QR code will be scanned upon entry to NRG arena. Faculty will only be able to check-in to the ceremony time listed on your email confirmation. The faculty check-in team will be able to locate your registration by your name, if your QR code is not available. 

  • Please note that faculty will NOT be allowed to register on site.

Ceremony Start Times:
It is crucial that you arrive one and a half hours before your scheduled ceremony time to ensure a smooth sign-in process. There will be no late check-ins, once the ceremony line-up (8:40 or 1:40) starts the faculty check-in will close. You will not be able to check into the ceremony.

Faculty Check-in Times:

  • AM Ceremony: 6:30 AM - 8:30 AM
  • PM Ceremony: 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM

Ceremony Line-up (Faculty):

  • AM Line-up: 8:40 AM
  • PM Line-up: 1:40 PM

Ceremony Start Times:

  • AM Ceremony: 9:00 AM
  • PM Ceremony: 2:00 PM

All faculty members attending must be dressed in a Full Regalia (including Tam), as this is a requirement for participation. If you have any documented ADA accommodation, please check the appropriate box on your registration and inform Dr. Baskin as soon as possible so that necessary arrangements can be made.

Parking and NRG Arena Information (parking map link): coming at a later date
Faculty will be provided with a parking pass at no cost. Enter NRG gate 9 (Westridge. at Kirby Dr.) and park in the maroon lot. Please monitor your email for additional parking pass distribution information. You will need to have a printed copy of your parking pass on the day of the ceremony to receive the discounted parking rate.

Regalia is available now through October 30, 2026:
Visit https://facultydirect.herffjones.com to order your regalia. All orders placed on this site will ship directly to your home. You will be provided with a return label to send the regalia back. All Faculty members are responsible for the $20 return shipping fee.
