2026 Math Challenge

The 2026 Math Challenge is a mathematics competition designed to gauge students’ math skills and to pique their interest in mathematics and related STEM fields. Houston City College students currently enrolled during the 2026 spring semester at the time of submission of the initial registration application, are permitted to apply to participate in the 2026 Math Challenge.

To be eligible to participate in the 2026 Math Challenge, you must be an Houston City College Student who is currently enrolled in a Math class in Spring 2026.

 

For a student to become a qualified participant for the 2026 Math Challenge, you must

  1. have a valid photo ID,
  2. be currently enrolled in spring 2026 courses,
  3. complete registration by Friday, 3/20/2026, and
  4. be one of the first 250 approved registrants.

Participation in the 2026 Math Challenge is FREE

Since space is limited, participation in the 2026 Math Challenge is reserved for the first 250 qualified registrants.

 

All participants will receive a Math Challenge Accepted T-Shirt.
