Friday evening, 5:30 PM - 9:00 PM, October 28th

at the West Houston Institute Auditorium

There is no dress code for the event, but guests are encouraged to dress in costume for our theme of "Prom Night." Maybe you're finally going to rent that powder-blue tux? Maybe your date will finally get you a matching a corsage for your dress?

As always, Bedichek-Orman auction proceeds support many worthwhile professional development opportunities for adjunct and full-time faculty at HCC – opportunities that in turn, impact learning and growth opportunities for our students. This year, a portion of the auction proceeds will be donated to the Joyce Roberta "JR" Miller-Alper Emergency Fund for Adjunct Faculty.

Make plans now to join us for an evening of bidding on great items for a great cause!

Item donations for the 2022 auction are now closed, but you can make a cash donation at any time. For Cash Donations:

Make A Donation via Check or Credit Card
Make A Donation via Payroll Deduct

START BIDDING

Whether you are bidding online or in the Handbid app, here are some easy tips to help:

About Bedichek and Orman

THE BEDICHEK-ORMAN AUCTION

The Bedichek-Orman Work Group works throughout the year to raise funds for professional development opportunities and for the aid of faculty in distress. However, their primary fundraising event is the Bedichek-Orman Professional Development Auction, held annually.

The money raised by the workgroup funds Bedichek-Orman Professional Development Awards, which are designated to assist full-time and adjunct faculty in travel and/or registration for professional development purposes.

This event is open to HCC faculty and staff.
