Description: Soprano Frances Fenton and mezzo-soprano Kathleen Ruhleder, accompanied on the piano by Adam Vincent Clay, will perform music composed and arranged by American women.
The program will include the World Premiere of "The Heart of a Woman", a song cycle by Kira Rugen, as well as works by founders of American symphonies, musical organizations for American composers and conductors, American musical theater icons and opera singers. There will also be pieces by HCC faculty members. There will be selections from the Classical, Folk, and Musical Theater genres.
