Rodolfo (Rudy) Cavazos Jr. has 30 yrs. of experience in the Personal finance and Credit industry. Cavazos is a Business school graduate from Texas A&I University, attended Midwestern State University, where he worked on his Master’s in Political Science and completed the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) certification program at Rice University. After he’s bachelors’ degree, Cavazos spent 18 years in corporate America in personal money and credit management. During his tenure, he and his team were responsible for five major markets that included Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, California and Chicago. Cavazos and his team of consultants, provided personal money and credit management education. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Cavazos had a syndicated Finance segment on both Telemundo and Univision networks. On Telemundo, during the evening News at 5:00 o’clock and 10:00 o’clock, he delivered a daily information segment on personal financial education to the Spanish speaking community. After leaving the corporate world, Cavazos spent 2 years at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas-Houston Branch, where he led the Houston Money Week initiative. As of 2016, Cavazos founded The BridgePath, a boutique non-profit that provides expert, comprehensive and fundamental personal financial education to both general and low to moderate income consumers and small business owners/entrepreneurs. Leveraging years of networking and successful collaboratives, Cavazos and his team, are currently providing English and Spanish financial education in Texas and Louisiana. The BridgePath aims to be a recognized as a leader in disseminating personal financial education by using their proven methodology of Education, Instruction and Mentoring. Education is provided by in-person or virtual workshops, Instruction consists of custom Action plans for each client and Mentoring is confidential and delivered via one-on-one sessions.
